Prediction League Cup Final 2008/09 Notes

Well Done to rivieralou who despite having FOUR FP's out of the 12 fixtures has won the Prediction League Cup. this sits inside her trophy cabinet along with the Golden Boot for the PL AND SECOND place in the Prediction League. Aworthy winner i am sure you will agree. Unlucky to Jerry who put up a good fight, and still gets the Runners Up Trophy Well Done to everyone who joined this season. Can we get 64 in Round One next year???

For the month of June i will be running two extra trophies for the season!! No avatars needed Dave lol. Please post on this thread to the following 2 question's - applications closed on the last day of June where iw ill post the winner. July 1st will be handover day, please see below!!!

Who is your clear predictor of the season? Riviera with 2 trophies and a runners up? tufc01's dominance of the league, JimD?
OUTSTANDING CONTRIBUTION OF THE SEASON:
A prediciton of predictor who exceeded your expectations? capitalgulls non league journey to the PLC Semi? People joing late with no chance of winning? Me?

PREDICTION LEAGUE 2009/10 ANNOUNCEMENT

As you all know i have been loving running both the league and cup competitions, it has been an honour to have my league hosted on this wonderful site whereit has beensuccsesful and made to feel welcome. Earlier in the season i would regaularly post on here and my Ground Reviews page but as the season went on i fell ill with diabetes - not the worst thing ever i know, but the medication made me feel very ill for along time after and i strugled with my daily life. including coming on TFF. Now im still suffering from the medication which makes me quite ill but am working full time and also my pc is slower than a slow thing on a slow weekend. During the last month or so i felt i couldnt give my whole to this site and have not been on here for a while. I did post the PL as quick as poss but that was all. I have spoken to rivieralou at great detail who im sure she wont mind me sayiong was my secret moderator of any mistakes i made and i feel with her history of running things elsewehre she would be the right choice to take over as she would be able to give more than i can at themoment and i dont wanna promise things i cant maintain next season. I plan to get better over the summer and go back to being a top poster here and updating my grounds page but the PL will be handed over to rivieralou on July 1st. Please offer your support as she run the league her way and no boubt will be just as succsesful. This is in no way a decision because i cant be bothered or have issues here (yes i did once offer to stand down early on as i had too many fps but that was just a moment) i want the PL to be brilliant and any more than the cuirrent amount of players id struggle with. Please accdpt my a[pologies for standing down and know that i fully support this site and the PL. A decision will be made about whether ui run the PLC or lou does before the handover but BOTH WILL RUN!!!!!!! Dave, lou will need to be Mod on the Comps board but if ok i will stay as one too incase i run the PLC and also if Lou has an emergency and i need to cover her. I will hand over the League to lou at the end of the end of season awards Announcement on July 1st. Also the login page will need an update to...

Brett, may I take this opportunity to convey my sincere wishes that you recover soon and also to let you know of my admiration of you for your fortitude and dedication to this competition. The fact that is is not personally "my cup of tea" does not mean I cannot recognise and respect commitment and focus when I see it.
