As you may know Lou will be running the prediction league this season for the forum and I hope as many as possible join in this year and give her your complete support.
We are making some major changes to the competition this year in the hope we will keep everyone interested for the whole season.
The biggest change will be that it is no longer a season long league, it will be a minimum of four seasons but could be five or even six seasons. Once Lou and I see the fixture list we will then decide how many seasons we will run.
This will mean that at the end of each season the top three will move up to the next division and the bottom three will drop down a division. Each new season will see all players starting out on zero again, giving all players an equal chance to gain promotion at the end of that season.
We will still be only using the matches from our own division, so that should help you to predict the results better. Lou did not say how we sort out what division you will start in, but I'm sure she will post and let us all know.
So can you please get you name down on this thread if you would like to take part this season, don't forget at the end of each season the winner will have a custom title.

Looks like it is a one-off sibling battle at the moment.
Remember Older brothers should be allowed to win as a matter of respect. ;D

Its Dave R who will be the champion this season, last year was just a practice one, anyway come on men and ladies we need far more to join in so please put your names down as soon as you can, or else I'll have to get merse to join in ;D

Well done Phil thats the spirit, I have just had a chat with lou and she will post soon on how the divisions will be sorted out, first she will have to wipe the butter from her mouth as at this time she is stuffing crumpets into it  |

Hello and welcome to the new Prediction League, thank you to bbcgull for asking me to take this over from him and thank you to Dave for the above post!! As Dave said the PL will run this year in not as a season long League, it will be made up probably of four 'mini seasons' this gives people joining later in the season a fairer chance to win something! I will just use Division Two fixtures and the point structure will be the same as last season. The staring positions will be determined by the 1st weeks results. It would be great to get enough predictors to have at least 2 divisions so please sign up to the PL by replying to this thread or PM me, its a chance for us to have a bit of competitive fun every Saturday even more so this year with the introduction of the 'seasons'!! Come on tufc01 sign up I have to challenge you this year ;D!!! Dave already thinks he is going to win so we need lots of people to join to show him is not going to be as easy as he thinks it is !!!!!
