A fantastic website... This link below goes to the derelict sports grounds of London on the site but after looking at this page go to the home page and look at all the other wonderful derelict areas of London photographed... (Reckon Merse will love this lot!) www.derelictlondon.com/id48.htm

Oh the memories - had a great match (team performance - not individual!) at Feltham for the works team on the astroturf back in '00! It's a shame to see it in that condition as it was a great set-up there even 10 years ago.
The saddest one for me is "Old Bevonians" (who I had never heard of). They became defunct due to fly-tippers. The people that volunteered their time to keep that club must have been understandably gutted.
Great site - probably even better for those that have lived / live in the Big Smoke - love the old skool grafitti.

There's parts of Feltham and Hounslow around the army barracks that look a whole lot worse than that O2B, just ask Rob The Brief!

Obviously a man who believed in percentages. I used to really enjoy my Sunday nights down at Catford when I lived in SE London. Shame the place got demolished and replaced by flats. Now there is just one dog track in London, down at Wimbledon, and the rumours are that will be gone by the end of next year as well. Anyone read Suggs' new book on Derelict London? Great read and I would recommend it heartily.

Catford Stadium, I've seen it many times during my stays in Catford. Taking the train from Catford Bridge to London Bridge. Never been in the ground, even not at a greyhoundrace.
Also some smashing old grounds on that site!
