What about a team made up of players who after appearing for the gulls played in the South Devon, South Western or Devon County league?

10. Andy Best (Teignmouth)
11. Mark Loram (Brixham Villa)

 To coin a phrase I used when reffing: "Oi you, behave or I'll tell your mother"Rudgie only a sub? He played for Aston Villa's First team man!  How about this one: Rob Robbins*. Ian Twitchin*, Dick Edwards, Clint Boulton, Bobby Baxter. Steve Morrall*, Cliff Myers, Don Mills, Andy Provan. Steve Cooper, Mark Loram*. *Before AND after! Subs: Mark Coombe (GK), Dave Rudge (oops!) Mike Green, Gordon Astall, Dave Kennedy....................and they're just from "my" era! I've also played with Pat Roche Tommy Northcott, Geoff Cox, John Evans, Wes Saunders, Dougie Clarke, as well as Rob Robbins, Twitch, Bobby Baxter, Steve Morrall, Don Mills, and probably a few others who I've forgotten as well as against Reg Wyatt, Peter Darke (ouch!) and Frank Arundel. There are probably one or two others who I can't recall just now!

my particular favourites whilst watching at Nortel/Clennon Valley etc in the 80's/90's were Eddie Kelly and Willie Young ..........do they count?......both gotta be in the first 11!!!!!!!!!!!

Just how many old boys have plied a footballers trade in the SDL. My team was an ensemble of players who I either watched, played against or refereed. As a relative youngster I struggled to get a squad together. No doubt Barton Downs and the rest of you old boys (no disrespect gents) could pick a dozen teams, lets see?
