I have had alot of conversations about this and i class it as a new ground and here is why.. Re 92 CLub if a club rotates the pitch 90 degrees the grounds needs a revisit. Now i know its not 92 but here is a link to show just how far the old and new ground are differently situated... sm1d who runs the brilliant 100 Club site did a poll with all his members and the concise response was it IS a new ground What do you think?

I agree that it is. You could say the same about AFC Bournemouth, as the pitch was rotated, then the 3 stands rebuilt, so therefore the pitch/buildings are in a different position to the old ground.....

The linear drawing of the comparative Wembley perspectives show just what a gargantuan project building the new one was. The most spectacular view of Wembley is to be had from the top of the Staples Cross Flyover on the North Circular at the foot of the M1. The sight is reminiscent of Independence Day when that huge space station dominates the sky. I thought Wembley was everything I ever wished it to be when we played there in May and that was my first visit since the rebuilding. Yesterday was my first time inside the Emirates Stadium, although I see it every time I open the front door. Very good, yes; and towers above you but the roof is hopeless as the first ten rows aren't protected from rain and I thought the raking of the seats in the lower tier was far too shallow. We had very good seats at the very back of the lower tier right behind one goal, but every time that tiresome childish and moronic "stand up...............song started the view of the pitch disappeared. Likewise had Arsenal scored at our end we would never have seen it as all the morons have to stand up again every time their team get near the opposition's keeper. The sound system was brilliant however, and the TV service in the bowels of the stadium superb with Arsenal TV on show and the events inside the arena relayed so that those who can't exist without stuffing pizza/doughnuts/beer from plastic tumblers/chips/burgers or what have you every two minutes because their attention span can't take in a football match, can spend their twenty minutes queuing getting neck ache staring above them at the screens! One mention of the football............... Real Madrid's Robinho - what a genius, and as good as any player I have had the honour to see in the flesh during my lifetime including Pele, Eusebio and Bobby Moore! Arsenal's Denillson is another World Class youngster and Theo Wallcott has come on amazingly whilst sixteen year old Jack Wilshere has the potential to be an England player of genuine world class product now the Gunners are getting the seven year commitment to a wonderful batch of local nine year olds in 2001 near to fruition. I'm sure too that Aaron Ramsey will overcome the handicap of being Welsh to establish himself at the top. What a tragedy that like Ryan Giggs and George Best his talent will be wasted mucking around with irrelevant nonentities whilst his contemporaries will be getting exposure on the world Stage
