Barton dug up this wonderful website for the Casley thread www.rageonline.co.uk/Wouldn't it be fantastic if we could have something like that for TUFC? One of the features is listings of Oxford players who have played for other teams. It is part of the code of conduct of football obsessives that it is compulsory to sort random lists of players into imaginary starting elevens with imaginary tactics. So here we have a team of players who have played for both Oxford and Torquay in the last twenty years: Veysey Mansell Monk Elliott Woozley Murray Hargreaves Clist Green Sills Zebroski I was going to go 4-4-2 with Clist wide left and Green or Zebroski wide right, but felt that the players were well-suited to a flexible 4-3-3 come 4-5-1. Hargreaves and Sills will be the strong spine - two players you would always want on your side. Murray and Clist will be either side of Hargreaves and Green and Zebroski can run the channels either side of Sills and tuck back into a 4-5-1 if we are under the cosh. I will NOT be appointing Ian Atkins as manager. Only doubt is Woozie at left back. Maybe I should go back another five years and bring in Dreyer? Unluckiest exclusion is Dearden - a toss-up between him and Veysey really.
