South West Counties Floodlit League in (I think) about 1965/66 would have been the most recent competitive action before Cheltenham got into the league. Have got no idea about our away fixture that season but I was at the home game which we won 7-0 and Robin Stubbs scored I think 6 of them It was 7-1 actually - match report below. Does anyone have Robin Stubbs' e-mail address? I know he'd be interested in a copy! Mervo has a copy of the programme for this match in his loft in deepest darkest Canada. The away fixture was never played - we competed all of our thirteen other fixtures.

That's our leaky defence again! Have we never done clean sheets?
