Dagenham 4 Shrewsbury 0 - Saturday's result is starting to look not so bad now.

Not a bad partnership that Dave! With Dag and Red winning by 4 already against a decent proven Shrewsbury side, I think maybe we just came up against a very good in form side, remember they battered Crewe away aswell.

I don't think anyone expected us to be two up at half time, but we are and we need to make sure we work as hard in the second half. We know Burton will come out in the second half all fired up, we just need to make sure we make no mistakes at the back and get the ball to Rendall and Benyon at every opportunity.
I really hope we get the three points, it will do the players confidence a world of good after the Daggers game, fingers crossed.

Whoo OOO, we sound good tonight, wayne carlise and danny stevens seem to be making an impact. I think we did have Dagenham at the wrong time. Still its only half time so everything crossed for the second half.

I certainly didnt Ive got us down to lose 2-0 in the predictions league, but I think i'm happier we are winning!

Dag and Red beating Shrewsbury 4-0 and not half time yet! It makes our result not look as bad as it seemed, I do think our players have done well to forget that game and just get on with this one. Its not over yet and the second half may well be nail biting for us, but you know me I'll stick my neck out and say we will score again.

Been listening to OUR game (well once the commo came on two minutes AFTER kick off and then DT waffled on about last Saturday for another two minutes nothing changes!) and watching the Arse at Celtic. I spent a couple of hours hanging around the Tottenham Hotspur training ground today on an ITN job before getting called away to whisk an Essex domiciled rock star off to Heathrow and got filmed driving her as part of a rock video production.....................let's see if I survive "the cut", but I was asked to sign a disclaimer and provide my bank and Equity membership details Dunno what was going on in the back seat behind the blacked out glass, but it sounded good! Well, typical of Bucks to stick largely by a poorly performing side and give them an immediate chance to redeem themselves..........................good management when it works ~ and to be fair to the manager it usually does in OUR case. Benyon for Sills sounds to have increased the mobility in front of the midfield so they have more passing options, but I stress "sounds" as it is notoriously difficult to get a good angle on the game with all the waffle that constantly creeps into the commentary. Two up, a big opportunity to cement a fine start to OUR return to League action and Dagenham showing just what we were up against on Saturday. Oh, and the London aristos are a spawney goal up on the poor half of some Third World city!

It was good to hear that Benyon was making the runs into space behind the defenders, playing with a player like Rendall this is what he can do and its his pace that gets in there.
Trying to get on to flick ons and trying to win a physical battle with some large defender he will always come off second best.
Note to Phil glad you enjoyed it, we must do a Sunday family day out togeather soon.

Stevens is frustrating me via the airwaves. Time for Muzzy... I do agree, he will give Burton a bit more to think about, in all the games I have seen this season, Stevens has faded as the game progressed. We do need to get a bit tighter by the sounds of it.
