Shame about Wayne C.
Sounded like another solid shift.

I see that Green has scored for Oxford, the Scum are drawing 1 - 1 and Plymouth are losing 3 - 0 at home

"and Plymouth are losing 3 - 0 at home" I know! I am going to have a very unhappy Janner coming home tonight which is particularly difficult when I am celebrating!! Well done the gulls, that takes away the pain from Saturday!!

It may have been very hard work in the second half, but after losing on Saturday this is a really good win. A super start to our season back in the league and we need to do our best to get all three points at home on Saturday.
I do wonder if Chris has regretted what we wrote in his blog, it did not seem like the team was suffering from anything tonight that went on in the pre season. This result can only help to get more people up at Plainmoor on Saturday and I can’t wait to be there.
If we do take nine points from our first twelve, then that would be a better start than anyone would have dared hoped for. Well done the team, well done Bucks, the only way is up.

Already a better start than last season. Well done to Buckle for getting everything spot on.

Great stuff. I wasn't hugely surprised at the defeat on Saturday and not 100% surprised at our win and performance tonight! I think that we are somewhere in ability between Dagenham and Burton and the last few days have shown that to an extent.
I would definately have taken 6 points from the first available 9.
Also it is a bonus to see Ellis and Adams get 90 minutes at FGR tonight

"and Plymouth are losing 3 - 0 at home" I know! I am going to have a very unhappy Janner coming home tonight which is particularly difficult when I am celebrating!! Rub his nose in it darling, and I hope you dress him better than that hopeless scarecrow that's always in their technical area....................a sort of "visual Gordon Sparks"! Up to sixth now as the League table begins to take on a smidgen of relevance and that well known "legend" and "Player of the Year" of ours sees his current side go dangerously near the bottom of a league two levels lower after yet another defeat. Only 2,600 bothered to support Burton tonight, just shows what an apathetic town that is to try to run a Football League club in. Oh, and the Arse got another spawney goal to send the impoverished East Enders of Glasgow scuttling out to the nearest traffic lights and the chance to earn a few pence cleaning windscreens on their way home tonight, but I suppose they wil still all be crawling all over N7 next week as the price of beer and whiskey in the supermarkets round here is set to rocket once again!

Bucks still looking for a couple of new faces to bring in. That'll keep them on their toes. A very solid performance tonight. Nothing to fear from Barnet at the weekend. Well done lads.

Although just the usual 3pts gained for a win. Psychologically this could be a massive result. Good to bounce back after defeat. A clean sheet An early away win under our belt. One in the eye for Branston Strikers getting the goals is always good. Yet another confidence booster showing that the players can perform at this level. may result in 3k gulls returning on Saturday. A defeat could have been interpreted as Burton progressing better than us. More questions may have been asked and led to un needed pressure on the players & PB. So well done to the players, PB & coaches for a great result. Maybe theyre not so bad after all buster

Great to bounce back from Saturday. Also great to keep a clean sheet.
Nice to be in the Play offs, but I'm far more interested in the 6 point gap between us and second bottom! Survival is the first priority and anything beyond would be a bonus. I dare say we will encounter a few days like Saturday along the way, but if we bounce back in this manner we should be fine.
