The goals are now on our bbc website. 3 very good goals I particularly like the cross from the bearded one for benyon to head in CRACKER. Also watch out for Stevens sprinting to get the ball after the ref gives a pen, and does anyone else think the keeper should have been sent off, I know there were guys sort of covering but it was a bit cynical (but not as abd as Todd v Barnet!) news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/teams/t/torquay_united/default.stm

I want to listen to his post match interview as well, is it available anywhere other than Gullsplayer ? Gullsplayer is less than 10p a day and the club get all the subscription money so stop being so tight and sign up! Anyway, that was a live interview and doesn't seem to be included on the relevant section......................to anyone who has also viewed these highlights, isn't it a joke that "hoofball" still gets bandied about in relation to OUR manager! No way either was that a red card offence by the keeper, "cynical" doesn't apply in the wording of the relevant law; but "denying a possible scoring opportunity" does ~ look where Benyon's momentum is carrying him.................certainly not denying him a possible goalscoring opportunity is it.

The other thing from the Gulls Player highlights is that they are slightly longer, allowing the viewer to see the incredible build up to, in particular, the second goal. There was no hoofing in that half. It was impressive quick pass and movement that destroyed the opposition. I hadn't appreciated that Sills had a hand in two of the goals- with well read knock-downs to Benyon. Again, showing he is much more than just an aerial threat from 10 yards.

Have just got back from being away loads and have paid up my 10p.
Only comment in addition to the above is that has anyone else noticed how far away from his line the keeper was for the pen? Two things - should it have been retaken and should Wroe have seen this and just rolled it left?
Having just returned from an over 35s tournament when we had a penalty shootout for one of our games I know what my boys would have said! Now; where's that Deepheat...
