....Carayol on for Stevens. greavsie on soon....
No Sills today which is a real shame...........however, the midfield 2 sound so awful that the need there seems to be greater.

Greavsie for Benyon sounds like going with Williams being pushed further up and an attempt to address the usual problem with Stevens and Benyon in the side away from home of the ball not sticking up front Sounds like 4-3-3 now: Poke. Carlisle, Robertson, Todd, Nicholson. Thompson, Hargreaves, Wroe. Williams, Rendell, Carayol

I think Carlisle marking Buckley the left winger who is proving a problem will be the key depending on how he copes. Well Buckley's just been subbed which could prove significent, although now we are down to ten men as Robbo can't seem to stop his nose bleed. Ram a red hot knitting needle up it physio! Now we're two down and it seems buggered. You can't accuse the manager of "not having a Plan B" though, I couldn't imagine a scenario of more changes within a game and more challenges to address!

As DT is saying, the team HAVE to start at the same tempo, urgency and keep possession up front that the opposition do. I cannot see that starting with Benyon AND Stevens in a side will achieve this. They won't change, they are not reliable footballers of the standard we require in this league and are at best impact players to bring on when the game is stretched. There is much to work on in my opinion as it seems that too many players are failing to take the manager's allowance to step up to the plate. Rochdale, like D&R; are a decent enough League 2 side who achieved the play offs in the past two seasons and have a settled sort of set up that appreciates the pace and demands of this league. OK. Greavsie has just scored but we MUST take something from this game and it must be to apply the knowledge (hopefully) gained of just what this league demands.

The thing is Aussie, that you don't need a lot of knowledge to realise that four league defeats on the trot is an appalling set of results.
I can't believe that if we had just won four games in a row that there would not be a number of members of this forum praising Buckle to the skies.
There still seems to be one rule for the Buckle fans and a different rule for his detractors.
