Well after the walk from hell yesterday and one who prefers to keep away from the normal tourist hotspots on bank holidays, Carol and I with her mum and dad made the short walk down to Collaton School and church.
All the family live nearby and most always supports all the events that take place at Collaton, they all love the dog racing that happens once a year and all have gone for as long as I can remember.
Today was a special flower show and vintage car show and I do love looking at old cars, many there I would have driven when I first started driving, or were a feature on the roads at that time.
I fell in love with an Austin Healy and a Rolls Royce that once had a famous owner, I also loved seeing close-up a bubble car again, who remembers watching someone opening up the FRONT DOOR to get in and drive it.
Here are a few shots of the many I took; these are all cars I really loved, I did not plan to have Carol in one shot, but she got in it anyway ;D pointing to something in a car to her mum and dad, what does she know about cars I ask myself.
