The family home of a famous Newtonion. Its not David Vine, Merse,Dave R or me so don't go thinking too deep? ? where Merse fertilized the soil The buses were washed and refueled here in my day. This bus station is in the foreground of where the Newton Abbot bus station I recall was located. A white concrete building with a cafe, newspaper stand, some toilets and a rest room for the drivers opposite a four sided clock that never worked.

For the first answer I will go with John Lethbridge
The second picture is not easy and could be taken from one or two places, I thought it was from one pace but the houses on the left would not be there.
So I'm going with a view from the top of Buckland taken past Centrax.

Top answers. John Lethbridge's house in Wolborough Street & Milber Down is the second one where Merse fertilized the soil I believe.
