A picture taken not very long ago and features the lovely Carol, but who's house is it The second picture might help you to work it out.

Finally managed to complete the SW coastal path in 2007 - after tentative first steps along Babbacombe Downs in 1957 - with Port Isaac to Rock being one of my last sections.
Was walking up the hill in the second picture when I got a text message:
Paul Buckle new manager
My reply:
Interesting

The second picture was taken by a bench, in one of the programes the school teachers friend went into labour on the bench. Around to the next cove was a great looking walk up loads of steps, Carol was not up to doing it, mind you I think it would have killed me off. two different shots of the steps the second from the top of a field on the walk back. One more shot of Carol, well you all know her now anyway

One thing I should add about the house is, that the filming is only done from the outside. You never see him walk inside, someone does live there and the shots inside the doctors surgery are filmed elsewhere. There is a sign asking that no one looks through the windows, but we saw some people doing it and they had read the sign. We parked our car right up on the top of the village( far left of the second picture and behind all the houses) but you can see cars parked on the beech. Yes it is a chargeable car park but beware, you need to read the sign that tells you what time the tide comes in. It really is a great place to go and see, even more so if you watched Doc martin on the TV. You spend half the day trying to find the places you see on the show, some are not what you think. The school is really the hotel, while the building that was once the proper school, is a cafe come restaurant. Now you may remember that Burt had a cafe, well that was a surprise, its just down from the doc's house, here is a picture of what it really looks like without the tables and chairs.
