Merse I have not been disrespectful, his past CV is very impressive, I said we will now see how good he is as the England manager and I don't think my views are rather silly just my own views that are different from yours.
I won't change my views that the manager of the England team should be able to speak good English that can be understood when he is giving interviews.

I won't change my views that the manager of the England team should be able to speak good English that can be understood when he is giving interviews. But understood by who? I am sure the players (many of whom have foreign managers/coaches at their clubs) are fully aware of what he is saying and as far as the public are concerned, I do for a start and I am sure most people can with a little extra attention. Did all that many people understand Bill Shankley when he gave interviews? Or how about knowing what point Ian Holloway is making half the time? Many people in all walks of life have bosses who's first language is not the same one as theirs........................we're living in 2010, not the insulated fifties. A manager having a foreign accent is not a reason for doubting how good he is as the manager of the set up he is managing.

Any manager should be judged solely on his coaching/ motivatonal abilities. If we had won our opening two games language barriers and accents wouldnt have come in to it.. Lets face it were looking for reasons and excuses when the real fact of te matter is NONE of our top players are performing.

Saw video clip on Sky Sports of Heskey smashing the ball into the net time after time. Apparently tennis isn't really his sort of game either

The prize for winning this would possibly be Serbia in Round 2, after the Germans knock out Ghana, followed by the winners of Uruguay v South Korea in the Quarter Final. Please start playing England. That is a heck of a nice route to a World Cup Semi Final that ought to be opening up for the team that tops our Group. I apologise to less annoying turds than JTit across the globe.

irrespective of terrys age,i think capello will send him to the gallops after this world cup however well we do,he wont forget, but is probably being diplomatic to keep the squad happy.Capello is almost certainly planning post world cup, such is his forward thinking style,we are very fortunate to have him as our manager

The French capitulate early on, the USA arrive very late, and it ends up with us battling the Germans! Twas ever thus!! I did though like the way that Rooney with his tracksuit on having been substituted charged across the pitch and joined in the cuddle with the others. Good management of a player who is probably our only real world class one when in form. Good message to send to Rooney today and he will be the star as a result. Shrewd!
