I remember my last Torquay visit to this ground well. We won 1-0 and decided to head back to the local pub for a celebratory drink. Upon our arrival we were welcomed by the local bouncers whom informed us that if we entered the pub by the door we would more than likely be exiting the establishment via the window. Needless to say we had our celebratory drink in a weird little place called Goole.

I declined, saying that I'd rather be put into the stocks and have crows peck at my eyes, then go back to that godforsaken dump. |

I liked Boothferry Park. Never been to a game but sneaked inside the ground a couple of seasons ago. Brett's last pictures show how the ground was during my visit.

Just watching a report on Hull's rise from 92nd 10 years ago and pictures of Boothferry Park on Inside sport. So sad. I hate to see grounds like this. if you are reading the last 100 posts..do look at the actual thread for Dave's sad pics.
I do like Phil Brown, always had a soft spot for him since he carried a Torquay United flag around after the 1-4 defeat when he played in the Sherpa Van Trophy Final for Bolton.
