This was the season that the League Cup was launched.
Although this is second round match it was the first one we played in the competition because we received a first round bye.
Unfortunately our home game was postponed due to a waterlogged pitch and we had to play the game at Argyle(02/11) which ended 1-1 (Mills) in front of a crowd of 9885.
Replay was also played at Argyle(07/11) and we lost 2-1 (Cox) in front of crowd of 7982.
