I would say that we have Setanta, have enjoyed the courage. At the time of the Weymouth game(I was not there) the club had made a statement to the local press, stating the Monday night games were losing them £10.000.
Also the results when we were on the TV were not good. Its easy to see why fans felt that Setanta were not helping the club.
I know [glow=red,2,300]nothing was posted that night ,that was really bad [/glow]by the fans, I feel the club had no right to stop fans having their point of view. Well you know what I think about free speech Merse ;D ;D ;D
The point I was making, and the issue that annoyed the board and Colin Lee; was the verbal abuse and obscenities that Setanta deemed fit to "silence" by turning off the crowd effect mike at the Torquay end of the ground.I know there is "history" between Mr Melluish and the club as well as certain supporters, but I feel that the current regime have the right to treat it as just that - history, and should be allowed to pursue their policy as they see fit and without a small minority of fans engaging in an unseemly war of attrition that will only serve to make their (the club's) future sales' pitches harder to achieve.
