Hello to everyone. I've decided to sign up because I know and respect quite a few people who are members. I can't resist TUFC talk, especially mulling over the old days - I'm particulary interested in the history of OUR club. I must admit that I join with a bit of a heavy heart. I can't stand divisiveness, and one of the great things of the past year is that it has shown how much TUFC fans can achieve if we are UNITED and pull together rather than bickering. Call me a dreamer, but I wish we could all just get along, even though I can understand the issues some people have. If you don't mind, I'll stand with a foot in each camp, trying to see the best in everyone. If you don't like it, you can ban me! One thing I would ask is that once the initial outpouring of angst is over, can we put all personal animosity aside and move on? I am happy to be a part of this community if it is a thriving place to discuss TUFC with a slightly different slant to "the other place". I don't want to get stuck in the middle of a bun fight. Let this place be a POSITIVE site to discuss OUR club, not a NEGATIVE one to complain about how others go about things. Cheers, Jon.

This forum has not been set up to divide those who like to post on forums, or try to steal other fourms members The aim is to give fans a place that is different from other forums, but it is true I want to have this forum running like the old .net. Some may feel that they may want to make remarks about .net, as we want our members to feel free to put their own points of view, we feel that unless we have good reason, we will let them. As in any forum there will be times when our members don't agree, but we believe the posters who use this forum, will all be adult enough, to make their points and show respect to other members. This is first and foremost a TUFC fans forum and my hope is that it will be a place we all can enjoy.

I got banned for sticking two fingers up at the pomposity of the administration by "naming" the "manager" who's name everybody knew anyway! I could have disclosed his phone number if I had wanted to be as treacherous as he made me out to be. However, you won't find yourself banned from this site merely for being yourself Jon; and as for being "lynched" for partaking in .net - no chance - Dave and Tony just wouldn't operate that way................this site is run for adults by adults, whilst all ages are welcome and only personal insult or abuse will be stamped on. There's no need to have a heavy heart because there is an alternative, why should that be the case?

I know nobody's going to ban me - and understand that light/no moderation is the name of the game here. That suits me for the most part, but I must admit that I did think you were out of order posting personal details on the internet. If someone does not want his full name plastered on the web, you should respect that!
