The previous monitor's days were over the afternoon I came home and found Olivia had "coloured it in" - she's since won an Islington Council Award for art and had her finest effort framed by the Town Hall folk so that it now hangs proudly in the entrance to our flat next to the "Crooky" caricature of yours truly - wheelchair bound (Go Faster Model) playing football in Gulls black and white kit at the age of fifty. Suitably signed (and insulted by some) and inscribed by my fellow CGs, I'm happy to report that since that day six years ago; only one has departed this mortal coil (Rest in Peace dear John Adams, recipient of the finest Humanist funeral I've ever been to) September the eleventh has taken on a sinister aire since "Nine/ Eleven" but it was "my day" first, and as long as those boffins in Geneva don't send us all vapourising down a black hole some time soon; I fully expect to be around for the birth of our next child,(surely the best birthday present anyone could wish for!) come April 09...................silly old sod I know, but you'll have to forgive me - I've never been so old!  |

By the way, is there any truth in the rumour that you'll soon be joining cult band "The Zimmers"  ? Surely not.........I know your BLOODY AWFUL taste in music!! ;D |

Milkman? We're lucky to still have an occasional postman around here mate, I think milkmen died out with bus conductors! |
