On Finn: a bad few days at the office accepted, a reprimand, make sure it doesn't happen again, or is it a case of being not up to it and not good enough?
The team management could apply either/or , but for me Bresnan should play at Lords.

Here we go again, another evenly match day.....maybe convicts just shade it ha ha ......after a dreadful start to the day,England fought back well, another inspiring ton from belly.......Barstow looked good till he got that full toss which should of been dispatched anywhere, but in smiths hands......shrewd captaincy from clarke to bring smith on,and his gut feeling paid off......but on thecwholecthink both teams will be satisfied after today......so expecting a swings and roundabouts day again tomorrow.....just hope England's tail wags like the Aussies did in the last test. You never know. Si

That was some batting collapse from the aussies today- can,t see them wrestling the Ashes away from us, in England at least.

Just taken the second test by a huge margin. Totally outclassed Australia, looks like the Ashes are here to stay!

Never underestimate the Aussies, have come back hard in this test. Despite a century from Pieterson and 60s from Cook and Bell still got some work to avoid the follow on. Ironically, the weather may come to our aid today and the draw looks the most likely result at the mm moment.

I see that our player of the season, Aaron Downes has one eye on this competition but must be a bit gutted that the English weather has come to the rescue of the home side meaning that they can no longer win the series and we retain the Ashes! Very good fight back though from the tourists and suspect it is going to be tight down under....

See the convicts at it,they have lost the ashes in just 3 tests, now accusing kp of alleged tampering with his bat......even after they had the better of the last test they are world beaters.....ha ha ha what a load of garbage.....now shane warne calling us arrogant.....why can't they just take ANOTHER DEFEAT on the chin, and move on.....you have to play them at there own mind games.....and they don't like it when we get back in there faces.......come on you Aussies give us your best shot....at end of the day you convicts have not got your hands on the ashes AGAIN........si

On that wicket 250 might a competitive score.....none of the England players looked comfy.....ok a bit of waffling at the end by jimmy and Bresnan might be crucial in the long run......si

It seems to have gone a bit quiet on here this evening - everyone been watching the cricket? I was - but don't tell Stefano! I didn't hear the score all day, so watched the Channel 5 7 o'clock show without knowing what would happen. Gripping stuff, looked very dodgy at one point but what a spell from Broad to finish them off. Sorry Stefano!

Good morning......wow didn't see that coming when they were cruising, all the credit will go to broadly, and rightly so,an awesome spell, but have to mention Bresnan to,he seems save his best for the Aussies, big mention to bell to,and our lower order have done the business to........lets finish them completely off next wk at the oval......BARMY ARMY BARMY ARMY.
