Interesting note in the programme by the Torquay United Supporters Club complaining that on a nice fine day there was a crowd of less than 6000 to see our promotion chasing team in the home game against Crewe!
Plus ca change!

Blimey nearly nine and a half thousand in "old" Plainmoor must have been a squeeze. 50years on and how times have changed with regard to attendances.
Great series Timbo always very interesting reading.
