Plainmoor Ladies went into this game hoping to keep their unbeaten record in the league going since 10th Oct 2010 and up against a decent Exeter & Tedburn side that have lost on 3 games in the league this season. Plainmoor carried out instructions to get at Exeter & Tedburn from the 1st whistle and duly obliged with a goal on 4 minutes after some great build up play between Hayley Chamberlain & Laura Baker resulting in Baker crossing an inch perfect pass to Tash Martin to drive the ball home from the edge of the area. Plainmoor kept up the high tempo start and was 2-0 up on 10 minutes when again player of the match Laura Baker crossed for Tash Martin to stoop low and head home from 12 yards. The 3rd goal came on 32 minutes again with some smooth passing in midfield with Chamberlain releasing Lisa Chapman on the right who crossed 1st time to find Josie Jackson who Cooley slotted home. Into the 2nd half and Plainmoor carried on with the possession game out was out passing Exeter & Tedburn for long periods of the game, on 60 minutes Josie Jackson was to get her 2nd and Plainmoors 4th of the game with a 40 yard Maisey run and fired home low at the near post. Then in the 75th minute and what will go down as Plainmoors goal of the season, the ever so impressive Baker picked the ball up wide on the left and spotted the Exeter & Tedburn keeper off her line and floated in a beckham like shot that left the keeper stranded and left every one in awe on what they had just seen, even earning applause from the opposition.
