Not too many votes this week and initially going through the votes I thought the Meerkat may have got the gong with a great effort to get to the Cheltenham match and having to work early the next morning.
However, his match report was pipped by Wigston and congratulations on a great match report which can be read below.
A packed away end impressed me throughout, with our crowd showing theirs the way, constantly outshining the Robins supporters efforts. We certainly got our £20 worth of vocal. It was like they only had 400ish fans, not us!
A great cross-pitch pass led to a stunning goal from Robinson, taking most by surprise, but it was a superb surprise for us. He knocked the pass down in front of him, ran onto it and wellied it. A stonker.
Dannys goal looked a corker too, but would need a better look via television to really tell, but it lifted the crowd even higher.
Don't understand why we needed to remove our front line in favour of midfielders in the second half, meaning we sat no further up than half way with the occasional meaningless foray into their territory. Which left us with only Zebs as an attacking force, and he stuck mainly to the wings.
I agree with other comments concerning proffesional attitude and understanding in-game tactics, as far as the need to hang on to the ball and not just chuck it up to their keeper.
One passage of play in particular sums it up for me. The ball is played forward to Danny with us under pressure at 1-2, he strolls forward and i'm thinking "take it to the corner, kill time", but I also realise that he's neither big/strong enough to hold off the defenders attention nor clever/skillful enough to use the ball well. He does the next best thing by laying it off to , I believe, Stanley, who takes a touch and smacks it across the edge of the box to no-one but their keeper! Who once again rolls the ball out and advances unchallenged up towards our half before banging it into our box. Two matters that need addressing mehinks.
The foul on LRT was a disgrace, only bettered by the lino who saw nothing from 5yds! And as for our blokes getting carded for kicking the ball away, makes a mockery of it when their chappy knocks the ball out of Brannos hands at a throw as he walks past (right next to same said lino) clearly upset at it not being given their way!
Kee looked up for it again, with good use of his chest most times. Branno was fine as was Stanley, with some others putting in decent shifts. And as far as LRT is concerned, he looked like he will become a very good defender given time and experience. He made some great blocks and covered well for the first 70ish minutes, but tiredness took it's toll and mixed with not coping with the onslaught, this meant hurried clearances to nowhere and losing focus on what was happening around him. Shame really.
All in all I'd say we thrashed them in the battle of the terraces, but let ourselves down in the main arena. Hope my visit to Accrington on saturday has a happier journey home....

Poor poor finish to what should have been a cracking night. I'm still a bit shellshocked about how we threw away 2 points. We never looked second best from kick off, but if the game had been 2 minutes longer I feel sure we would have lost!
