Buckland Athletic 3 St Austell 2
Goal in the 88 minute gave the bucks the 3pts,
Played poor and won, maybe its our year again.
If i am honest St Austell deserved a point.
i will do a longer report tomorrow.

Buckland had a score to settle as St Austell were the last team to beat Buckland 14 league games ago which was the last game Mr m was in charge, on that day they beat us by 6 goals to 4, so revenge was always going to be sweet.
Buckland started well and had a lot of the ball but could not convert the possesion with a goal.
St Austell were very physical and the referee took no action on 2 or 3 of their players who deserved reds, but were not even shown yellows!
Buckland took the lead in the 16th minute when Liam Moseley slotted the ball into an empty net with the keeper lying prostrate on the floor claiming he had been fouled moments earlier, but his limp miraculously dissapeared for the rest of the game.
Buckland went 2 up when a great ball split open the lilywhites defence and Liam Moseley ran on to lob the on rushing limping keeper! 2-0
St Austell came into the game and pulled a goal back when W Tinsley prodded the ball home after a shot had come back off the bar. 2-1 the ref brought an end to the half and a cup of tea was well welcomed on this cold afternoon.
St Austell were well up for the second half and levelled on 60 mins when a forward scored at the near post.
St Austell nearly took the lead but a last ditch tackle by Luke Horrocks saved the day who blocked the ball on the line and somehow it went over the bar.
Buckland tired and Wednesday nights efforts against Torquay United were starting to tell, but with the clock running down Buckland had one last attack left in them when substitute D Vickary did one of his mazey runs and threaded a perfect ball through to Liam Drew who shot low into the corner of the net.
This was Liams first ever league goal in 143 appearances for us as he normally gets a headache when he ventures into the opposition penalty box.
The home fans went mad again, and new that getting 3pts and not playing well are the sign of true champions.
If i am being honest St Austell deserved a point out of the game.
The referee brought an end to the proceedings and he was probably glad it was all over as i am sure he will have better games.
Mom Luke Horrocks( outstanding defensive display)
Attendance 120 mark (no details given)
Next week the big one BODMIN TOWN at home possible title decider.

Many thanks for another great report AMY, I can see why Buckland give you space in their programme for your excellent match reports.
What a great shame such a big game against BODMIN TOWN, is on the same day we have a home game at Plainmoor. I would have loved to have come over next Saturday as I know I would have enjoyed myself at Homers Heath.

Many thanks again AMY, what a great section of action shots from yesterdays game.
It seems I'm going to have to come over to Homers Heath sooner rather than later so I can stand by you and pick up some valuable photography tips.
