Buckland made the short trip up the M5 to Cullompton, to try and get the 3 points required to keep them in poll position in the league.
After the disapointment of Tuesday night the boys looked well up for it and pressed forward in the early exchanges.
Cullompton`s pitch had gone quite hard and some odd bounces of the ball made football difficult at times.
Buckland scored early on when Danny Gaze received a ball out of defence where he cut inside and Found the gaffer at the far post who headed the ball back accross the goal giving the young Cully keeper no chance 1-0 16 minute.
Buckland scored again in the 40th minute when a free kick about 2 meters outside the penalty box, was taken by recent signing Cameron Kelly the son of former Torquay player Tom Kelly.
Cameron shot to the keepers right, the keeper did not move as the ball sailed past him, a fine strike to give Cameron his first goal for the Bucks.
Mr Cloak brought an end to the half and Buckland management must have been pleased with the first half performance, to go in leading 2-0 and dominating play.
Cullompton could only improve and a mistake by our substitute full back let in a cully forward who spotted James Wannell off his line, and fired a 25 yard shot into the top corner giving The keeper no chance.
With Cullompton pushing forward looking for an equaliser the game opened up, Buckland had many chances when sometimes it looked easier to score, but with some luck and bad finishing the score remained at 2-1.
Cullompton never really threatened the Buckland goal but the ref played 6 minutes of injury time leaving the Buckland faithfull willing for him to blow the final whistle.
Attendance 50 - 60 with 25 from South Devon
