Last game of the season.
Result: Won 3-1

I actually went to this match during the era when the coaches left at midnight, so we arrived at Rochdale very early.
A group of us decided to catch a bus in to Manchester city centre to wile away the time.
Can`t remember exactly what we did, except for wandering around the shops, one of which was Woolworths where later that year there was a nasty fire and sadly there were some fatalities.
We arrived back at Spotland in time to spend some time in a pub which was next to the ground.
Don`t remember too much about the match, except for us winning 3-1 in a front of a paltry crowd of 742.
After the match when we left the coach got the obligatory stoning which was quite common in those days.
Rochdale finished bottom that season.
