Bumped into to Barton Downs on the way out of the ground today and he told us that Tisdale brought himself on in the last minute of their game today.
We then bumped into some Exeter fans at the service station, who were genuinely pleased that we got into the play offs by the way. We asked them for the low down and they were as surprised as anyone when it happened. They were convinced that Tisdale is now leaving and they thought the likely destination is Bristol City???
So it looks like Tisdale is leaving Exeter. I know this won't concern many on here, but as he has been associated with every other managerial vacancy, what are the chances of Paul Buckle being linked to the soon to be vacant Exeter job??
We put that to the Exeter fans, but from their reaction its not going to happen anytime soon and if it does they won't be happy at all.

Tisdale picked himself to extend his pro-playing licence so that he can also add himself to the bench next season if required. I know that this was something that was planned last week (although not annouced until yesterday and it was more or less kept under wraps from the players until the match itself). I also know that Megson was absolutely furious prior to his press conference! Why on earth anyone would want Megson managing their club is beyond me - his star went-out long ago!
I don't think that Tisdale would leave Exeter for the Bristol City job. I think that he is probably the talent in the football league and the sky is his limit. It wouldn't surprise me that when the time came for him to move it would be to the continent.

Tisdale picked himself to extend his pro-playing licence so that he can also add himself to the bench next season if required. Is this true? I've never heard of "pro-playing licences" that expire if you don't play. Are they policed by the pro detector van from the Ministry of Housinge? Surely, you can register anyone you want and play them? On a serious note, is Tisdale the first man ever to play in the Football League wearing a cravat? A member of the coaching staff coming on as sub after not playing League football for donkeys years can't be something that happens very often, can it?
