With us getting to the play off final everything was starting to look fluffy on this site with even the meerkat thinking that we were going to win yesterday!
However, the logistical challenge of selling all those tickets did create problems which meant that, we the customer didn't get the right service, which caused a lot of frustration and probably lost the club a lot of business. However, in the midst of all this, Aussie came up with a great argument on behalf of all the staff who were trying their damn-est in very trying circumstances. I spoke to Kerry myself midway through last week and she certainly had a frazzled air about her.
So well done Oz, you picked up a flurry of votes very quickly with a cracking post and fully deserve to have your name in yellow this week!

The club is running on a shoe string budget, trying to cut it`s cloth, card readers and phone equipment cost a fortune and so do the people you need to get in to set it all up, as do extra staff to man these things, so far most of the main issues arise from Old Trafford NOT TUFC, we as a small club had from Friday after the game `till Sunday 12:00 mid-day to obtain the tickets and organise distribution, a whole new learning curve arose during this period and that was I imagine to learn how MUFC wanted our club to sell these tickets, the staff had to try and understand the Old Trafford ticketing procedure and the needs of our fans. Yes things could have gone better up at Plainmoor but without the experience of doing this their way before it, as I imagine, would be quite a task to undertake. If you read through this thread from start to finish you will see that the responses from people are suggesting that things are improving and Kerry and staff are learning, improving and doing their very best to help where they can. I feel that after six pages of negativity and slagging off the club someone ought to try and get people to understand the situation from a less selfish point of view. I feel sorry for everyone that has had a hard time through this and hope their problems get resolved but taking it out on the club`s staff is beyond the pail. There is a director in charge of this who people should be addressing not the frontline staff, it`s not their fault! I`m quite sure that if you emailed Deano at the club he would try and help as well, if we communicate through the correct channels and try to help one another then things will get better a lot quicker, it shouldn`t ever be `us against them`, hell we`re all in it together! Why when something goes a bit tits up do we have to have a go at the club? Why don`t we try to help put it right? I`ve kept quiet `till now but some people seem to only be able to see things from their personal perspective and that dissapoints me frankly!
