Listening to the radio it sounds we are playing well enough and after Lincoln had a goal disallowed Ellis had a good shot that was saved and then Benyon headed in from a Nico cross. Lets hope we can hold onto our lead until halftime and then ensue we defend well just after the break when you expect Lincoln to try and put more pressure on us to get back on level terms.
Have not heard Muzzys name mentioned too much and hopefully the lads can keep him quite in the second half. It would be great to follow up our opening league match with another win, but we will need to be at our best to hold onto our lead and come away with all three points.

DT says we are only playing in third gear and need to move up a gear and he also feels we may need a second goal. Okane comes on for Billy Kee as he did in the game against Reading. Benyon had a second goal disallowed for off side and DT felt it was Kee who might have been the one flag for the part he played in the built up. Mark Ellis needs to defend a bit better than he is by the sounds of it. Lincoln just had a good chance following our corner that resulted in Wroe doing what he did in the Reading game and making a very poor pass. Fingers crossed we can hold on and stop Lincoln getting a goal back. Wroe did redeem himself after OKane slipped Wroe in for a shot that resulted in the Lincoln keeper making a very good save to stop the ball going into the top corner of his goal. well we got our second goal as DT wanted, Benyon again

Just under 200 Torquay United fans watched on as our team beat Lincoln by two goals to nil and that now makes ten league games where we have not conceded a goal. Brilliant start to the season and we have carried on from where we left off last season.
DT said while it was not the perfect performance by the team they did do all they needed to do and while as they did in the Reading game gave the ball a way a bit to often, they created enough good chances and made sure they took two of them.
Slight concerns that Guy went of as it seemed he had cramp but maybe some sort of strain, lets hope if it is a strain he is not out for two long. All our players seem to have played well and it was good to see Bucks put on Wayne for Danny who seemed to be tiring toward the end of the game.
A season is a very long time and there are many games to be played but all fans should be over the moon with the start we have made and full credit needs to be shown to Paul Buckle and all our players.

Yet another great result. Well done to the players, PB and all those connected with the Gulls. Going a goal up with our fantastic defensive record must fill the team with confidence for a win.
Good to see PB using the subs more. Shows he now has confidence in the whole squad.
Really looking forward to our first game of the season on Saturday.
