This is a fascinating programme, full of interesting articles and photographs.
I wonder who the statistician was at the time, however, as all of the leading League appearance figures are well off the mark, and it's not as if the discrepancies can be attributed to one single season.
This probably accounts for the fact that a lot of supporters were discussing how best to celebrate Tom Northcott's achievement of overtaking Dennis Lewis' record during his final season !!

We're best off sticking with Messrs Lovis and Gibbes' authorised - and authenticated - version of Torquay United's history.

And what of Frank O'Farrell's description of Robin Stubbs? "I say colourful, though he was always a bit of a puzzle".
Also Eric Webber's tribute to Arthur Milner as a "guiding influence".
