Seeing David Keefe at 5ft 4in, 9st 10lb reminds me of the most excruciatingly embarrassing moment I have ever witnessed at Plainmoor after Keefe signed for us at the start of the 1977/78 season.
I went up to see a reserve game and Fred Jago left his mike on after announcing the team lineups.
He went on to say to someone sat with him, and unwittingly to all of us in the ground, that he didn't think much of Keefe because he was much too weedy, too easily knocked off the ball and wasn't a proper-sized winger like Dave Tomlin - followed by a pregnant pause and an almighty clunk as the "microphone off" button was pressed a little too late.
I don't think Keefe lasted long after that.

In the centre of some but not many of this programme was a Sex Pistols flyer, poster advertising never mind the bolocks and the forthcoming Paignton gig which was cancelled. I sold one flyer on ebay for sixteen quid earlier in the year. Just a thought...........an obscure one i grant you !

Ruddy council also banned the Stranglers and the Anarchy in the UK Tour - Sex Pistols, Damned and the Clash. Short sighted Kn*b heads

The programme posted is the one I purchased myself on the day of the Match and I don`t remember it including the flyer unless I took it out. But I found a spare one which did include it and here it is.
