I'm trying to remember which year was my first match that I watched. Southend were our opponents. Bobby Moore was manager of Southend.

Still can't crack this table business. 22/12/84 H v Southend United D 2 - 2 1,022 Anderson, Laryea 06/11/85 H v Southend United D 2 - 2 1,070 Loram, Crabbe |

Jon, that's a lovely table around your date. Next step is to fill in some lines between your columns: 22/12/84 | H | v | Southend United | D | 2-2 | 1,022 | Anderson, Laryea | 6/11/85 | H | v | Southend United | D | 2-2 | 1,070 | Loram, Crabbe |
Your spreadsheet dataset will have a column of data, then a column of coding, then a column of data, then a column of coding etc. Don't forget to /tr at the end of each row.
