Did you know that the players refer to negative posters as `haters`? He's no longer a Torquay player. He can get as many "who ate all the pies" jibes as anyone cares to throw at him now. As for #haters, I (along with most posters on here) contribute towards the players wages by paying to watch them. That entitles me (and anyone else that does so) to constructive criticism. If Im not happy with the way someone is performing and Im prepared to back it up with reasons, then its tough sh*t if someone skin isnt thick enough and it upsets them.

Agree with DVN (and Lambethgull) - personally don't follow any players on Twitter anymore but they should suck it up if they get some stick for under performance or digging their heels in to get a move. I'm sure that he was paid well enough to play for the club and I thought that he was very well backed by the supporters - even though he probably has played little more than a dozen or so 90 minutes for the club due to his lack of fitness to enable him to play professional football.
As for players calling people "haters", I think that isn't a very suitable word, how many players are really ever "hated"? Mind you, most footballers that I had read on Twitter came-across as semi-literate idiots anyway - it used to piss me off reading the ramblings of players that were doing things that were not beneficial to their physical wellbeing - they are supposedly professional atheletes.
Anyway - good luck to Billy Kee, but he is gone and we have a new Billy. Hopefully he will help us today in what promises to be a very tough match against a very organised and physical D&R. I have a feeling that he will start ahead of Ian Morris today. Our defence will have their work cut-out against Gavin Tomlin, who I thought had some excellent games for us last season and I would have been very happy to have seen him return.

Nothing wrong with constructive criticism its just the chidish playground name calling and remarks that get to me. Say it as it is. Team for today looks to be set up to favour a more defensive aproach alright until we let in a couple. Wouldnt have seen that under PB with his all or nothing attitude. Ellis gets a start hope hes up to it. Oastler droped to the bench. 01 Olejnik 03 Nicholson 05 Robertson 06 Saah 04 Ellis 07 Mansell 10 O'Kane 11 Morris 19 Stevens 09 Howe 23 Atieno Substitutes 02 Rowe-Turner, 18 Oastler, 15 Bodin, 16 McPhee, 22 Lathrope
A quick look at the team sheet on the official site and the BBC site shows a different starting eleven with McPhee starting in place of Danny which was the main reason I thought defensive so maybe not quite so defensive.

No Maklin obviously hasn't impressed Lingy enough. So much pace and potential but can look clumsy at times. Sure to see Bodin on the pitch at some point will he be able to make as much of an impact as BK lets hope so.

how many players are really ever "hated"? Well, Raynor for one before he joined FatBoy Slim in management ;D Theres just something about Robbie Savage I hated on the pitch as well, although to be fair, he comes across quite well and not at all full of himself on the radio

Harsh on Joe Oastler when he's hardly had any support from the right winger. Not exactly confident of getting anything from this match.

Agreed, harsh on Joe but sounds like a good start nevertheless.

1-0 down and looking vulnerable. Cant keep a clean sheet even with a classy keeper. TEN atempts at goal FIVE on target to our ONE off target. This is a good start ?Crawley all over again.

I see Cheltenham are beating Crawley 3 - 0 Maybe we were fooling ourselves that they were so good and we had been beaten by a team that will walk the league, Its an easy opt out excuse for our dreadful show last week. Somethings missing for sure I wonder if its that bit of quality in certain areas of the pitch Its easy to fool ouselves that players wouldnt be missed but we have shipped players that have been key to our better performances and replaced them with unknowns. I hope we can improve in the second half, one shot off target though doesn't bode well.

FT 1 - 1
If only Torquay had played the whole match like they played the second half.
Still beer and food up the Dumpling later!
