After losing twice at home to this outfit I don't hold out much hope of a result but that's not really what this league is all about. With a relatively light schedule and only the odd injury or suspension, only Saah and Morris have had significant match time outside of Saturday's starting XI.
In fact, I wouldn't be surprised if Saah makes his comeback in this game as his recovery from injury was reportedly making good progress. If he does play, joining him will probably be Rice, LRT, Leadbitter, Aldred, McPhee, Macklin, Yeoman and Atieno.

Not another night game so soon, it`s hard work getting up at six in the morning then going to do a days work followed by going straight to Plainmoor and then not finishing until ten thirty, just to have to get up again at six to do another days work! I`ll be there!

I don't think Ling would ask anyone to travel to Brighton and back on Wednesday / early hours of Thursday and then get on a coach to Accrington on the Friday morning. You can rule out anyone in the 16 for Saturday, plus probably one for luck. It will be the kind of team that we played at Crawley and we will take a beating. This is the kind of fixture we could do without.

You make a good point Jon and why this match is on a Wednesday evening, I just don't know, it really is not helpful, particularly for those smaller squads. It is debatable though, as we probably are not travelling up on the day of the game, so does the chance of 90 minutes of competitive football outweigh the risk of coming on early as an average of 10 - 20 minutes football for those that do come on is very manageable for those playing on Wednesday evening - didn't we play Tuesday and Thursday mid week games during our time in the BSP? I just don't like to see any Torquay team get thrashed, even if it has an average age of about twelve!

No surprises that we lost this one but 3-1 is a pretty respectable score considering the circumstances!
