Home to Dorchester!
Hilly's coming home!
(unless Oxford spoil it for us).

Can't ask for more than a home draw - away to Man Utd in the 3rd it is then.

Happy with that. My boss is an oxford fan so I will probably get the sack.
If there wasn't a replay to go and it was actually tq v dorchester I could see this one being on the tele .local connections, high flying ex league team and little old dorchester are prime candidates for the tv.
But given that it will have to wait about 10 days to know who we are playing they will pass us by.

A very good opportunity to progress. Hope it's Hilly. Would be good to give him a cheer back at Plainmoor. if we get Man Utd away in the 3rd Round, unlike Jon, I would rather we get Arsenal than Chelsea in the 4th Round.

Memories of the FA Cup 3rd Round Giant Killing of OxfordUnited in 1983, i was there too.
How times change... we draw them and we, on paper, are the favourites!!!

A home draw against non league opposition represents a fantastic opportunity to progress to a money spinning third round draw. Glad there is not the possibility of going to the Kassam as Oxford looked very good in the second half against us and have a good record there as they start to find their form this season. Maybe the club should give fans attending the second round fixture a priority voucher for the third round in the event of winning this fixture and then getting a tasty home draw! It could help boost the attendance but may also come across as arrogance.

rjdgull, while I think Its always a good Idea to do what can be done, to make sure all true fans could attend a cup game, against a top club, It still has problems. As you say, It would sound a bit pompous to offer voucher for the next round when we still had not played and won the 2nd round.I also feel that many Of our good away supporters, the ones who can't make it to Plainmoor, but would be at a game In say the midlands, cheering on the team, often miss out then. I could not believe when we played Birmingham, how many local brumies who had never set foot Inside our ground had tickets. We sure need to find a way to make sure the fans who really do support TUFC get any tickets, just not sure what the best way Is. I really hope we get Dorchester seeing as the one and only Hilly is there and plus they had a pefectly good goal disallowed to them in the first game at the Kasam Stadium.
Come on Hilly and Dorchester, you can do it

Imagine how we'd all feel if Hilly scored a 90th minute winner against us at Plainmoor?!
Now that would be strange!

You may find that Hilly was not treated well by the club he loved, yet he still talks well Of the club, he plays for another team now and would be happy If he got the winning goal for his team.

As If he would do that I think all players only really care about the team they play for and while Kev would love to play at his old ground again, he Is a pro and will do all he can to make sure his team DORCHESTER win
