tim sills standing at 6ft-6in a tall towering striker, started his football career as a youth trainee at millwall, after being released he choose to combine university with playing at the lower reach's of the non-league ,first with camberly town then basingstoke ,and after a brief loan spell with staines signed for kingstonian in 2002/2003 ,in a combined 171 games he scored a massive 98 goals for these clubs,he would also enjoy 1 apperance for the england c team in 2003 ,the following season tim stepped up to conference football with aldershot enjoying a great deal of succsess scoring 46 goal in 112 games and being largely popular with he shots faithfull ,tim would come close to league football with the shots being part of the squad that would lose in the play-off final ,his non-league scoring record was now attracting league clubs and in 2006 tim would move to oxford ,tim career would flounder for a while in 13 matchs for oxford would score just 1 goal ,and at the end of that season was released ,at one point looking set to sign for exeter (heck a big mistake methinks) hereford stepped in a snapped him up ,things would not improve for tim scoring 1 goal in 40 matchs for the bulls ,tim took a lot of flack from the herford fans,at this point it looked like tim's career as a pro could be coming to an end ,however on 28th of june 2007 in stepped torquay united ,tim jumped at the chance to play conference football again ,in his first season with the gulls he became an instant hit scoring 20 goals in 50 games ,however the season would end in dissapointment with a play-off s/final defeat and then he would taste defeat at wembley in the f.a trophy final, this season so far tim has played in 17 league and cup games and is begining to find the net again with his tally up to 9 and rising fast, tim sills i would say is the bsp answer to p.crouch ,being tall tim to many people is just a target man ,but he has a great first touch on the ball , aswell as an eye for a pass often linking in his fellow forwards ,tim's ratio of goals scored with his feet could be better ,however givern the right cross will power those headers home ,long may it continue at torquay for you tim ,and hopefully another desevered tilt at league football with the gulls will come your way.

After a slow start and short of confidence he has certainly come to life in the last few weeks scoring 9 goals in the last nine games (11 in total) and looking good to score another 20+ goals this season!! (Don't have too many Torquay players do that in sucessive seasons)

he didn't the last time he played in the league. sometimes players have a certain level that they excel at but take them out of their comfort zone and they fail I think, with the right service, Tim will do very well at L2 level and L1 the following season

My spelling is very poor, thats why I'm glad we have a spell checker on here, what gets me is, when it does not have a clue the word I'm trying to spell, nothing in the list is even close.
So I have to try and respell the word and try again, most times it works in the end.
