as regards to the attendance tomorrow,it may well be a bigger than i stated before as the 2 for 1 offer still applies. As to the goalkeeping crisis, lets hope ricey doesnt get hit in the love spuds or something similiar, because if so,it will be adios amigos echoes of years gone by when Eifion Williams crocked the Barnet keeper in opening moments of the "winner takes all" battle

In twenty four hours we might be feeling a lot happier than we are right now, or we could be contemplating a trip to Berryhead. I’m sure like me, many of you just wish this season will come to an end as soon as possible, it’s not doing any of us any good and has probably added years onto us.
I said after the Bradford game that Poke may well not play another game for us this season, that is looking ever more likely and we are going to have to depend on Martin Rice and while I think he has improved a great deal over the years, he would not be our ideal choice for the next three matches.
He did do very well in last weeks game, was he beaten to easy from an acute angle on his near post? I have not seen a reply of the goal, but on the radio it was said he might not be too happy beaten by such a goal.
Just when we thought we might have added that extra quality that would give us a much better fighting chance, we lose both of them and now it’s down to the players who got us in this mess, to get us out of it. Can they do it? Well that’s the million dollar question and we simply do not know the answer.
I’m convinced we can’t keep dropping points while other teams that have been as poor as we have been, keep picking them up, its why I think luck might just go our way tomorrow with a win for us and York and Aldershot both losing. It may be no more than wishful thinking on my part, but with so little to try and cling onto, I have to try and stay as positive as I can and keep everything crossed.
I can’t see that big of a gate for this game, we struggled to get 2500 in on a Bank Holiday Monday and anyone thinking there will be another 1000 fans crawling out of the wood work as they want to play their part in saving this team, must also be suffering from wishful thinking.
I have spoken to a few fans who I know won’t be there, they have said why should they when it’s the clubs fault we are in this mess, one said with the week he has had this week, seeing the team lose again might just push him over the edge.
I can understand how they feel, I do not care what anyone says, this mess is not down to the fans and can’t be blamed in anyway. You keep serving up rubbish and in the end people say no thanks, you stop showing ambition fans ask themselves what’s the point.
To be honest I do not really want to go tomorrow, but I will as then I will know at least I tried to play my part as a supporter, but the thing is it would not matter if I was there or not, the result with still be the same one way or the other.
I think we have all tried so hard to make allowances for the club, knowing what they have been trying to improve off the field, but it might take me a long time to forgive the club if we go down, we should not be in this mess, the first team should not have been neglected. You can not take gambles with your league status, you can not close your eyes when you see things going wrong, to do so will end up in tears for everyone.
Still its not over yet, we can stay up and I for one won’t be spending anytime even giving going down a thought, so as fans we need to stick together, remain on the same side and show this club just how much it does mean to us to remain a league club.
With so many things going wrong, so many things changing the odds against us, one might be forgiven for thinking it’s all over, well it’s not just yet and won’t be until it became clear mathematically we could not stay up.
If you can get to Plainmoor please try and do so, we might just be able together to lift the players to the heights they are going to need to reach, to win this match.

What vile morning it is here in the bay, darK danK and pooring with rain, let's hope come 450 the sun is shining on and off the pitch P*ssing it down as was forecast heavy rain all afternoon clearing by 5pm. Did Aussie order this to save him getting his hose out at half time? Appropriate dark clouds and murk sort of matches the occasion the game could well end up a lottery and we have been extra poor in wet heavy and windy conditions. Its not the last game and there will still be six points to play for after today. I forecast that there will be twenty or so permutations on the last day that could send any of four or five teams down with only one of those sending us down and guess who I think will slip quietly into the Conference..

It is indeed a very damp and wet day here in the Bay, I found that out at 7.30am when I went for a walk along Preston seafront. The heavens opened up at the point I was furtherest away from my car, I can’t afford to be shrinking anymore.
Aussie told me the pitch gets watered at halftime to keep the grass, ( where there is any lol) damp and slick to aid the passing of the ball, I did joke with him that to have any worthwhile effect, you do need players who can actually pass the ball.
It’s a good job it’s a Saturday and not a Friday as today’s date has two number 13’s in it, we most certainly do not need any more bad luck going into this game. It’s hard to get any real enthusiasm up, but then I think that is because of the fear of how we might be feeling come 5pm.
Let’s just hope for a win no matter how it comes, I will take 89 minutes off boring football for a 90 minute goal that will give us those three points.

Yep, the weather will make the match a bit more of a lottery, lets hope we have the winning numbers. Shame it will no doubt deter any additional casual supporters that might have thought about going.
