had a quick look at tonights fixtures... Clutching any help and straws....... Aldershot vSouthend away win needed.
Bradford v Rotherham Need Rotherham to win to be in automatic mix as they have both Plymouth home, and Aldershot away. Need them to keep going and ready to fight!
Chesterfield v Plymouth home! Torquay v Barnet home ! Wycombe v Northampton. Harder to call, but close away win. ( Spooky; Wycombe then have barnet away and port vale home...Northampton have the reverse; port vale away and barnet home... Want a close away win. Wycombe to play well and keep their good form, but Northampton to win (after a bad run) to then also be in the automatic mix when they play Barnet on the last day.
12 hour round trip last Saturday to see the rain.... @@@@ happens..we move on. Cannot be there tonight. Good luck to those going who can SUPPORT the Gulls.......

It was rather damp when I left the Bay very early this morning. Its dry and sunny up here in North Devon so I hope the sun is now also out up at Plainmoor.
Signs not good driving through magpie valley but those birds have been wrong before lol. Stuartb just make sure you get here safe later.you might miss our first three goals but as long as you are there to clap our players off at the end it will be worth the drive down.

The sun is currently making appearances in the bay through broken clouds. Lets hope it stays that way...

Oh dear, this match seems to have taken on importance of epic proportions! On their site Barnet fans are accusing us of cheating (watering the pitch even before it started raining-wait till I see that aussie guy) and all sorts of skulduggery! We've also been accused of rigging it so that Stevenage didn't get into the league all those years ago! I also think one of our ex-players has been implicated in the shooting Of JFK! Some fans really need to lighten up methinks!

Being the only game that was called off in the whole country, plus the fact the news was put out we were going to have to play our second keeper who was only 90% fit, I’m not surprised some Barnet fans feel something is out of order.
Even more so now we know Poke is fit again, but I’m sure our club would rather have played the game last Saturday for a whole host of reasons. The best way we can shut them all up is to make sure we win the game and drop them down into the drop zone.
No fears of any waterlogged pitch today as the sun is shinning brightly here in the Bay as I write, so expect too see our Aussie out with his hose before the start of the game and even maybe at halftime.
I’m even more nervous about this game than I was on Saturday, I do not know why that is the case, maybe its no more than feeling a bit worn out after a long hard day at work. Nico said on the radio this morning they got into this mess and it’s up to them to get out of it. So very true and all we can do is try and encourage them for the whole ninety minutes no matter how the game might seem to be panning out.
We know what we need to do, WIN WIN WIN , well actually three wins on the trot would be just perfect and make us all much more happier. We never do things the easy way, but we have beaten the drop so many times in our history and I can’t see why we can’t do that again.
The real fight starts tonight, if our players want this bad enough and give everything they have got, then when we get home we can write about how proud we are of them for at least doing their very best.
Its not going to be a pretty game, it might just turn out to be such an emotional roller coaster of a game, but all that matters is we get those three points that will give us hope to take into the next game.
