link - sad to see that Jamie has stepped down as manager and wish him all the best in the next stage of his career. As happens often, results have gone south for the last few games but good news in that a new manager has been appointed with good experience at Buckland so welcome Grant Fisher- link |

Might we see a power shift with Torquay and Buckland swapping places in the pecking order? |

link - for the second season in a row TUWFC have their season curtailed. Maybe not a bad thing as they can focus on building for next season now and not worry about their league position.

After a couple of curtailed seasons and some poor results there appears to be more optimism that new manager Grant Fisher will have the women challenging at the top of the league with a view to matching the men and getting promotion to the National League. Season kicks off tomorrow, albeit away at Bishops Lydeard tomorrow on 5th September with returning player Danni Wyatt giving an interview to Torquay Talk - link |

Just a reminder that Torquay women are in semi-final action with the Devon Premier cup this weekend at 2pm on Sunday away against Liverton whose ground can be found HERE. The other semi-final is Feniton versus Exeter City. |

The other semi-final is Feniton versus Exeter City. Very pleased to see a comprehensive 4-0 win this afternoon to comfortably ease into the final against Exeter. Goals from Danni Wyatt, Beth Everson with a brace from Ellie Bishop - link The latter unlucky to get a hat trick hitting the post and a disallowed goal in the second half and forcing a very good save by the Liverton keeper in the first. Also showed a good turn of pace late on and would get my WotM vote. Our keeper didn’t have too much to do but when called upon looked very competent. |
