You're asking a bit there Ditmar! My brain is so pickled I have no chance of remembering that, particularly if it was the late 70's as I wasn't even in the country. I'm sure one of the clever clogs on here will know! I'm sure one of those clever clogs will appear in due course. In the meantime I'd suggest Kevin Lane's reputation was almost entirely based around a 1975 League Cup tie against Swansea City when he came off the bench to score twice. Not really sure what happened to him after that but it made for a hell of a night at Plainmoor. I guess his overall story has a striking similarity to that of David Byng nearly twenty years afterwards. I'd suggest Kevin Lane's reputation was almost entirely based around banging in five in a 14-0 win against Poole, mentioned a couple of timed before: www.torquayfans.boards.net/thread/1843/sw-holidays-cup-wcflwww.torquayfans.boards.net/thread/7895/poole-town-vase-semi-final

I main be in the minority but like Jayden Stockley, a real physical presence, wins a lot of Arial balls. The winner came from Stockley getting his head on a ball in the area and ran nicely for Ashley Yeoman to slot home the winner Stockley missed with his header, the Bury defender miss-hit the clearance and pretty much sidefooted the ball to Yeoman who tucked it away...

Correct Ditmar. I wrote that the evening of the match. Watching the highlights the next day I see he didn't get his head on the ball. However he caused enough nuisance to half create the chance for Ashley. I believe Stockley will be a big asset to us for the remainder if the season.
