Without wishing to pee on anyone's fire, I was on Statto.com (link) this morning and the sobering fact is that we have only played 1 of the top half of the table and sit at the bottom of that 'table' with no points. I know it can be argued that the top half clubs are a moveable feast, particularly at the early stages of the season, which means that yesterday's result would have been against a top half club if played last month. Like everybody else I am thrilled at our start but I feel we need to temper our euphoria until we play some of the top half. That will be the acid test. Until such time though, I am going to enjoy the good feeling our 5th position in the current table is generating! Hi Florida......when the fixtures came out we didn't where these teams were in the league.....there's an argument bout our 1st game at Gateshead...who are 1 of the fancied teams this season.......since then the gaffer has done a great job......teams now are wary of us now.........and as to temper our euphoria .....not a chance......as was stated in post on a different subject.......there's something special going on at our great club........si

So many times have we flattered to deceive. Nothing, and I really mean nothing, could make me happier than for us to get promoted at the first attempt. CH is doing a fantastic job. I just hope all those fans cheering him now don't start to turn on him when we hit our sticky patch, as all clubs do at some stage of the season.

Love the commentary at 3.07 in:
"They're a good side these. Look at this, they're making space for themselves..... winning the challenge when they have to do. This is good play by Torquay".
