Anyone know where we are in the attendance table based on last season? From what I can see, Grimsby, Wrexham and Tranmere are way ahead of the rest of the league. Then there is the like of us and Cheltenham with "moderate gates" At the other end I'm sure that one team had a gate of 500 odd on the opening Saturday!! Those matches in the depth of winter on a Tuesday night are going to be depressingly small in some cases! What it will mean is that the uplift in away support will be minimal for us and will be reliant on home support more. Might get a few from Cheltenham for the bank holiday weekend but otherwise the away end will probably be shut on a frequent basis. On the plus side, although really early days, considering the injuries and the lateness that the squad was put together, I feel that we will be competitive and local interest will hopefully be maintained. Coxy, while rightly acknowledging that a lot remains to be done, seems pleased and upbeat in respect of progress made!!! link

Fantastic result. When I saw our August fixtures, I thought we would do very well to get as many as six points from our first seven matches. Six points from three is a great start. My expectations are low this season so I'm just looking at it from the point of view that we're already 5 points above the relegation zone. If we can stretch that to 12 and maintain it for the rest of the season, I'll be reasonably satisfied.
