As long as we can keep the score under 5 nil, I’ll be reasonably happy. Is there anyone here who has known Chelston long enough to remember the last time he was happy? About 1966 at a guess. |

So after rather a long wait Charlie is finally King Charles III. Let us hope that he fares better than the previous two…one who was Beheaded and t’other who died of The Pox me thinks?
The Thought Police (or the BBC as they’re better known) contrived to make a Cock-Up of the whole thing, because they’re not pro King Charlie, how dare anyone else be. Still, you would expect that from a society that pays an ex ball-kicker (who has the charisma of a Proboscis Monkey with Flu) millions of quid every year.
When Charlie came out on the balcony, a Black Actress who was on the tele talking about the Coronation quipped: “the balcony looks a bit White.” Well let me explain something my dear…it’s all about Genes. Which means, if a White Man shags a White Woman, in all probability the baby will be White…hence every one being White on the balcony.
Best to last: who ever thought of putting Princess Anne (with that huge thing on her head) in front of Moaning Minnie (Harry), should be knighted.

So Man City win the title again…yawn! I wonder how many times they have to win it before it all becomes a little bit tedious…10 - 100 - a squillion?
We on the other hand win so rarely, should we get promoted for us it’s like Autoerotic Asphyxiation…or so I’m led to believe. 🫢

Back in the day with night matches at the weekends: a couple of pints in Plainmoor before the match…after, leg it down to the Circus to catch the no 12 bus…time for a couple of swift pints in the Butterfly, or if we were feeling adventurous it was up to the Dumpling. Much better than sex! I was rubbish at sex anyway…always thought it was a waste of effort for three minutes. 🤨 |
