Wow, one point from the last 3 games for Woking, some F A Cup hangover. Can’t keep expecting them to lose but very much in our hands now.

In retrospect, their streaky FA Cup win over us turned out to be a good result - funny how these things turn out...

It’s a good night for us. And a terrible one for them.

Yes a good night for us but a very tough game ahead on Saturday and could all be reversed if for whatever reason it does go the wrong way. Chelmsford City will also be celebrating tonight and thinking that if they can turn us over will be well in with a shout for top spot.. Lets keep our feet on the ground here it can all change again over just a few games as we have all witnessed in the last few weeks though I'm certain GJ will be well aware that we have to keep our performance and concentration levels high and make sure we do the job.

Wise words but I don't think anybody thinks they can turn us over.

Yep, still a good third of the season to go and plenty of icebergs still to avoid and anything can happen in football, ask Woking or look back at all those countless times that promotion seemed to be on the cards for us.
Having said that, for the first time no one can overtake us if they win their games in hand and we look in a strong position with a well motivated squad eager to play in the National League, good fitness on those heavy pitches and with a pair of strikers banging them in left, right and centre and goals coming elsewhere right through the team. So all in all, things are looking just about as good as it gets for us but I never take anything for granted.

30.3. Bath (a), 6.4 Torquay (h) and 13.4 Chelmsford (a) make for three tricky Saturday’s on the trot for Woking. Of our remaining fixtures, the toughest on paper look to be this Saturday, 9.3 Billericay (a), 30.3 Wealdstone (h) and the Woking match. It never quite works out the ‘on paper’ way and there will be a few twists and turns, for sure.

Good work. You’ll need to update and pop East Thurrock (a) 26 Feb in for us, Flo. Woking themselves have a long journey down to Truro to play that evening.

Guessing we will have a lot of away support at the Woking game.Could be pivotal. The allocation they gave Watford was 1234 tickets. That horrible side terrace of theirs plus a few seats. Am guessing we will get the same and sell them all as we did at Bath.

It’s a handy reference, Flo. Please keep posting it after each round of games. It’s the stuff of title tilts.

Woking comfortably 2:0 against East Thurrock at home. Dartford are 3:0 up against Bath so follow up that win against Woking. Billericay are drawing 2-2 at home to Truro. So still a 2 horse race....
