Link - really good news in that our captain, Hall has signed a contract extension (no details but next season?) and Lumbombo-Kalala was only signed on until January but is now going to be here for “a lot longer”

Good news. Seems to suggest Johnson is looking beyond this season, good omen.

link - according to Devon Live looks like Johnson is going to tie down other players with contract extensions during our “mid season break” as he believes that many have what it takes for the league above.

I am a little surprised at this because he can cover the right back position as well as central defence. Probably the first player we have sent out on loan that can and has done a job for us but definitely fourth choice in the centre of defence due to the quality we have there. Likely to be a recall clause after the first 28 days in case of injuries? Does this mean he won’t be with us next year. Is his departure to make way for an incoming signing?

Is his departure to make way for an incoming signing? He can also cover defensive centre mid, but when Sendles-White got the nod over him there it looked like he was never going to feature much again. I’d say that yes, it means he won’t be with us next season and given the numbers we now have, I’d be surprised if someone else doesn’t come in. Or maybe that won’t happen until someone comes in for Nabi as Niate and Edwards should hopefully be back fit for our next match.

Central mid is very well covered! It does look like he is on the way out but I am not entirely convinced as it may be just a way of ensuring he is kept match fit at a time when he may not even make our bench otherwise.

link - well done to MacDonald who has earned himself a contract extension. Great work by him who has taken the opportunity offered by Bass being initially injured with both hands

link Cameron interview. Reid could be the key signing but any interest from elsewhere? Wynter, Davis and Niate to watch out for?
