After getting a first win under our belts we now have the first of two away trips this week starting with Solihull, a team on the up having finished second in the league last year following a couple of years of consolidation after getting promoted in 2016. We last travelled to this ground in March 2018 and came away with a 1-1 draw.
Their strike-force of Blissett and McCallum will be familiar to the yellow army as both have played for Torquay with McCallum on a month’s loan under Knill and Blissett being signed by Nicholson and both will be a handful and they have already scored one each in their 2-2 opener against Harrogate.
Johnson has again to carefully consider his options but after the impact that Evans and Edwards had upon the game on Saturday then it will be very hard to leave them out although it could be argued that Edwards may have a greater impact later on in the game. Personally I would prefer to see Evans start in central midfield which is his best position.
Any return from this game would be a good result but feel that the team collectively will need to up their performance to achieve this.

Another tough game looms but its a test we need to see how far we have come and how far we need to go though I personally believe Boreham Wood will be up there they didnt look to shoddy to me and looked a real threat up front. Definitely second favorites for this one after Moors strong finish and placing last season. It may play to our advantage a little in that their supporters will consider us very beatable having just come up. Predict CLE to start for Andrews or possibly Kalala, and extra body in midfield, maybe Edwards to come on later when hopefully we will have some sort of foothold in the game. Gonna be an interesting listen for sure..

David Thomas Devon Live PreviewPete - that’s a good point, we are so used to Gary lining up his team 4-4-2 but away to a strong physical team he could have an extra midfielder either with Connor in the hole a bit like how we ended up on Saturday or maybe with Hall behind Connor and Little. Either way, looks like he is going to mix and match players for the first part of the season mainly to find his best team but possibly also to rotate players at an intense and hot time of the season

Quite a few fans here. Most of them outside the bar at the moment.

Not surprised hes mixed it up after that tough encounter on Saturday and looking solid across the middle. Lewis Opi and Connor starting and a pretty strong bench.

Other than Lewis for Vincent, it is the team that finished the game on Saturday.
Not too surprised.
Would expect 4-2-3-1 with Lemonheigh-Evans tucked in behind Reid.

You cannot get away with things at this level like you could in the league below!
