I think we have all been supporting our club for long enough to know that playing against the bottom of the table side represents maximum danger! Just to underline this point, Altrincham, who have done quite well so far this season, went a goal down against them last Saturday and needed a 90th minute winner to come out with all three points!
The main decision for Johnson will be how to reconfigure our defence with Moxey being suspended for this game. It could be a straight swap with Andrews playing at left back or Randall could come in at right back and move Lewis to left back. What a perfectly timed signing he was! Alternatively we could play with three at the back but not sure how the wing back system would work?
Who knows which forward will start although there is some impetus for Street to show what he can do. Would be good if Hall is fit and able to play a part but with a tough game on Tuesday and the quality we have in midfield would not be devastated if he is kept back slightly.
In the grand scheme of things, quite important to play this game and that on Tuesday as it takes us ever closer to the halfway point, with Altrincham in fact reaching this milestone on Tuesday, as it makes voiding the season that much more difficult.

It will be the 21st game for both clubs Torquay and Altrincham on Tuesday rjd so one game to go each to hit half way. Let's hope the vote during the course of next week gives us that opportunity.
Potentially difficult game at Barnet but realistically they all are when you are top of the league as everybody wants to knock you down.
It is a matter of keeping calm keeping patient and going through the routines that have led to top of the table. It is the managers job to instil and maintain that mind set and he seems to be on top of it.
Two good results against Notts and Sutton as it kept two realistic rivals at a distance, although one win and one defeat would have achieved a better return ⚽️

Every game presents a new challenge and different obstacles and today is no different but see our mental approach to this contest as our biggest threat. Barnet are the current whipping boys of the division after loseing many of their better players from last seasons successful squad, will be expected to role over and surrender. GJ knows the dangers of underestimating opponents and will have hammered that point home to the squad - but then again I expect Ole Gunnar Solskjaer did the same to his Man Utd team in midweek as his team backed off and just strolled to defeat. Having said that rarely have we seen us under perform against the "easy win" sides under Gary Johnson so i expect the same high intensity and positive football we have all become so accustom to during his reign. Depth and strength in our squad has been key through these winter months with so many injuries again affecting team selection. Its a juggling act for the manager but the new lads appear to be good cover at least if a little inexperienced and green at this level. As always I will get behind whoever wears the shirt and whatever the performance. Hoping and expect an comfortable win but also prepared for anything else..you have to be don't you?.... whatever the result its just one more small obstacle out of many to come on the difficult road out of the division.

No sure things in football. GJ has said that Sheffield United have done his team talk for him. Vitally important that we exploit Barnet’s weaknesses and get three points on the board.
Really hope we can have Hall and Randell in midfield. To me, that solid two is the foundation on which we build. Understand the temptation to use Randell at right back, but to me he is needed in midfield. I think Lemonheigh-Evans is more effective than Little in the hole, so no starting place for Armani in my book. I have a slight preference for Street over Umerah, but need one or the other to lead the line for the first seventy minutes. Happy to go with Waters or Lemonheigh-Evans up top for the last twenty minutes but not from the start.
Am hoping we will start the game on the front foot so we may be able to start with Andrews at left back, particularly if we have Hall in midfield. Would give us more going forward than effectively playing four centre-backs and Cameron can shuffle left to help out. The “four centre-backs” is only an option anyway if Warren or Kerr is fit. You could then either stick Cameron at left back or move Sherring to right back and Lewis left back. I would prefer to keep Sherring and Cameron as a centre back pairing. Would love to have Warren as experienced defensive cover on the bench. If Warren is fit, someone will be very unlucky to be left out of the 16 - possibly Sheaf, or a chance to rest Little altogether.

I fancy Umerah to start - needs a goal or two to shut up the doubters - but GJ knows best. The tough physicality of this level will take some getting used to for Street but he's talented and may be the foil we need in the games ahead. Little I feel needs time to get back to speed with a few games coming off of the bench. Think he may well stick with the back line that finished on Tuesday if Warren is unfit. Would be nice to see Asa start but no need to take a chance if it could cause longer term problems - have to nurse the older players a bit on poor heavy playing surfaces. Andrews did fine when Moxey was injured so definitely an option. Always seem to get a surprise or two when teams are announced though with GJ always keeping his cards close to his chest.
Plenty of player choices for the manager to ponder and we have good back up in the wings waiting to take their chance.
Worth noting it looks like the first full NL program of matches today with no postponements. Good news.

Got the stream going for what it is worth. Just getting a 16 second loop. Should there be something live even if just the empty pitch?

Looks like Randell at right back? Pleased Street starting and goes without saying it’s fantastic news to have ASA starting. Maybe three at back? Will check line-ups.

Very unusual positioning on the beeb with Lewis and Whitfield pushed up front, CLE in centre defence and Hall on the right wing 😀- link
