Will Jenkins Davies, your defence is terrified… Will go top tonight if we get another. Yeovil currently top in play.

Unbelievably, Hemel score again to go 3-2 up!

Perhaps now we will get a decent centre half on loan?

We were slow and laborious in our attacks, allowing Hemel to get back in numbers. We reverted to long-balls up to their centre-backs, lacking imagination. They were well-organised and moved the ball around quickly.
Their third goal epitomised the difference, getting into space and moving the ball quickly once we had given away possession AGAIN! They cut through our defence like it wasn't there, showing exactly the sort of play that we SHOULD have been capable of but weren't. Jarvis kept making runs and pointing where he wanted crosses and passes. The ball rarely arrived where he wanted it to. He blasted over when clear through a couple of minutes before they scored first from a well-worked corner: unmarked header from the back post cleared off the line straight to a forward who scored from close range. Easy really, as was their second also from a corner.
We are out of ideas and the lack of quality coaching shows.
I don't think I want to go and watch this team anymore, it's just an exercise in frustration.

Perhaps now we will get a decent centre half on loan? In my humble opinion, Marshall and Tomlinson aren't the problem. Paradoxically they seem to be one of our strengths.

Think you may have hit the proverbial nail on the head Rags....lack of coaching. I was just thinking an experienced centre half might be able to organise things a bit.

I don't think I want to go and watch this team anymore, it's just an exercise in frustration. Most would agree that our recent good run has been littered with good fortune with winners in the dying minutes of injury time. We would be fooling ourselves if we think this squad, as it stands is good enough to win this division. Still a pretty threadbare squad and highly likely the player budget limit has been reached or surely we would have brought in an experienced defender wouldn't we? Unless we can strengthen in defence we will just continue to throw games away las we did today. The quality of this squad is nowhere near the 2018 squad that GJ inherited and then tweaked with some real quality signings. 2-1 up with five minutes of normal time to play despite not playing well is not a sign of a team who is going to bounce back and win the division and totally unprofessional when sensible pitch management should have insured we held on to that advantage. No Stobbs today his absence is sure to have contributed to todays poor result - and no reasons given for his absence, supporters kept in the dark by Plainmoors secret society as per usual. More poor post match "suggestive" interviewing again for the "Gaffer" what probing questions can we all expect. Honestly I cant be bothered to listen any more.
