Well we have to have a match thread, because It Is a game our team will be playing In.
Not sure many fans will be making the trip to Weymouth, so don't really expect any match reports. This will a game where the fringe players and the best Of the youth team will feature for sure.
Best to rest as many fist team players as possible, as I would hope we put out a full strength team In Saturdays FA Cup game.

i might be wrong, but dont 10 of the 16 who were named on saturday have to play? I'm sure bartondowns explained In one Of his posts that 10 need to be In the squad, so we would need to play five, but have the other five on the bench.

Aren't we obliged to put out a certain number of first team players? What goalkeeper are we going to use? I'm sure Beavon won't want to go to Weymouth in front of a hundred or so people - that includes both sets of supporters! What's our youth keeper like? On second thoughts send him anyway, it doesn't really matter what he's like!

I understand the Youth keeper Is not to bad, sure capitalgull will know as I think he has watched our youth team. I don't think the club will be trying to hard to win this game, but use It as a good run out for those not making the first team.

Not play, but 10 of the 16 from Saturday have to be in the matchday squad. I would imagine the team would line up something like....
GK Bevan or Fisher RB Mansell CB Ellis CB Pryse LB Nicholson RM Stevens LM Yeoman CM Brough CM Thompson ST Benyon ST Green
Subs: Carayol Wroe Charran Hodges or another one of Saturday's squad Woods or another one of Saturday's squad
Give Carayol a rest along with Sills, Woods, one of the central midfielders and maybe either Hodges or Nicholson if Pryse went into the starting line-up, and tell most of those who start that they are likely to finish as well !!
Not as if we should really care a great deal about this game other than trying to keep the unbeaten run going, and I'll still be thinking more of a meaningful unbeaten run even if we lose ;D

Your team still looks a strong lineup Andy and one I fear would win ;D I wonder what Bucks views are on the game. Does he want to keep the winning run going? Or does he want to get out Of this cup at the first exit, as he might feel only the league and FA cup are worth the real effort.

I would go with ...
Bevan
Mansell Ellis Hodges Nicholson
Carlisle (if fit) Adams Brough Stevens
Green Benyon
Subs Carayol Wroe Charran Yeoman Thompson
Still a very decent team, while at the same time resting the likes of Hargreaves, Woods, Dsane and Sills.

Yes crispy I think I would go with your team, It will give both Green and Benyon the chance to play a full game as well as Adams and Brough, while like you say resting some key first team players.

How Much Is Child Entry At Weymouth (Away End Obviously(: ) hi Dan welcome to the forum, I checked on their website and they do not have the price on there. I would expect It to be under ten pounds, maybe a call to our club will get the answer for you. Dave

How could I forget Adams, the forgotten man of Plainmoor!! They didn't call him the ghost for nothing then I won't predict a team as Crispy has already done it for me. I did half heartedly consider the merits of putting Brough in defence and Thompson in midfield (his best position) but surely we won't lose another two central defenders in the next six weeks Whether, Buckle will play a similar team to the above is debatable as he seems intent on using the unbeaten run record as a motivator in the winning mentality and may well play a stronger team. Wouldn't mind seeing us win this game if it is used for the squad players to get some match practice. A few good performances will also keep the pressure on the current starting eleven.

Sills (a knock from Mansfield) and Carlisle (extra time to recover) are not in the squad for tomorrow but otherwise the squad comprises everyone else that is fit

Sills (a knock from Mansfield) and Carlisle (extra time to recover) are not in the squad for tomorrow but otherwise the squad comprises everyone else that is fit Well If I understand the rules correctly, we must have 10 players In the squad, who played the last league game. Therefore we could play the five subs from Saturday and make up the eleven, by playing six youth team players and having the other five from the last game On the bench. Have I got this right? I fear we may just see a strong first team put Out On Tuesday night, reading Bucks views On winning runs, I feel he will want to get a winning result. That would be OK, If It keeps the winning habit happening In our league and FA cup games, but I would hope, we would not want to go to far In this cup, but concentrate On promotion.
